PRE/POST NATAL SERVICES

Taking care of yourself when pregnant and those precious months after your babies birth is so important. That's why we have tried to make sure that you can continue to enjoy your yoga and training seamlessly through the whole experience.

Our pre natal yoga "Bun in the Oven" is a 75 minute yoga class incorporating postures that encourage your mind body connection, but more importantly, the connection to your baby. The poses aim to ease the associated aches and discomfort that may occur during pregnancy and also help prepare the mind and body for that beautiful day when you give birth. The element of deep relaxation allows you to completely let go of your busy life and be in the present moment with yourself and the little life within you.

Some of the beautiful benefits of prenatal yoga include:
Promotes relaxation and stress management by using meditation, visualisation, and breath work.
Helps to tone the birth muscles by focusing on postures that tone the pelvic floor.
Helps with back issues/sacrum issues/pelvic pain and instability.
Helps a woman birth consciously by providing breathing and relaxation strategies enabling her to stay present, calm and empowered.

Not only are the bun in the oven classes perfect for expecting mothers, but any of our regular classes can be modified as needed and we have plenty of pregnant women joining in our other classes on addition to their bun in the oven class.

Similarly, our Small Group Training sessions are small enough that we can cater to individual needs, which includes those of mum's to be and mum's returning to exercise following their birth!

PREGNANCY MASSAGE
An absolute treat for a body under new pressures! Using our specially designed pregnancy bed set, feel fantastic laying on your tummy for 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Our specially trained therapists will have you melting away and forgetting the constant load your body is under!

PHYSIOTHERAPY DURING PREGNANCY
Our physiotherapists can educate you on the importance of all that pelvic floor stuff, as well as how to continue to work your 'core' safely. We also have a special interest in the changing shape of your pelvic region & for any of those unwanted twists & turns that creep their way in during your babes growth, we can help you iron them out too!!
